Ms. Banty - Old English Game
She stood in line and finally gave up and made her own nest and is now setting. She will probably be off mid March. Her neighbor, Mya, kept switching nests. Both are new setting to me, so hope they hang in there. She is currently mated to Cassius. UPDATE!!!! 3/12/08 she has four peeps!!!!!! She is nesting next to Mya.....maybe more peeps due!!! Next photo is of 5 silver sebright chicks that I put under her (I gave her chicks to Mya) that I had bought at TSC.

Henrietta - my sizzle
"I cannot understand what happened to my perm! I was supposed to have lot's of curls and look at me!!!" She is molting now.
This is my sweet Henrietta - such a sweet disposition. Hope to have some chicks out of her and her mate a white Jap. I have probably a dozen eggs from them in the large bator.

Please meet, Cassius, my frizzeled Roo. I got him quite by accident at a poultry auction. I had never seen a bantam frizzel and there he was with three more just like him. So, home he came. His companions were Henrietta, a white frizzel hen, and Mya, a black frizzel hen, and this little blue and white frizzel something. I thought it was a hen, but I later learned it was a Roo.He became Sugar Ray. Now the reason for the boxer names is that they are "fiesty" they will "flog" you if you mess with their hens. And Cassius, dances for his hens hunting food and scratching. So, I named him after Cassius Clay. They don't have spurs and they have about 5 toes. I wonder is this normal? They are adorable little balls of feathers.
